We are selling to people over 18 years old to avoid unnecessary disappointment/misunderstanding and to ensure that decision to buy an animal was made responsibly. All animals we sell are captive bred (our own breeding or breeding of proven keepers), no wild caught specimens can be purchased from this shop.
We are expecting that before purchase you prepared everything that your new pet will be needed including properly sized enclosure, heating & lightning equipment as well as checked all the information about keeping conditions and feeding. Don’t hesitate to contact us if unsure of something.
Live guarantee is in effect for Republic of Ireland only, no live guarantee can be given to any outside of Ireland orders (although all possible measures will be made to ensure safe delivery).
To ensure that you will get what you paid for several extra specimens will be added to the order free of charge to compensate possible losses.
Payment – Why PayPal?
The answer is very simple – this is world class payment system with buyer protection, fraud protection and data encryption. All sensitive information about your payment details (like card numbers, security codes etc) is stored on PayPal side only and we do not have any access to it.
Also if you have no PayPal account yet, there is an option to pay with your Credit/Debit card as Guest. Easy and safe!
Shipping & Delivery
COVID19 and Brexit affected postal companies badly and delivery time lines extended significantly what often makes it impossible to ship live insects – chance they will not survive transition time is very high now. So shipping to your countries is disabled till situation will be improved, but if you are interested in phasmid eggs or equipment – please, get in touch with us to get it sorted (same situation for customers from US, China, Philippines and other distant countries).
Two shipping methods are available – Standard (non traceable) and Express (traceable). We are recommending to use Express as it usually offers faster delivery and tracking number, so if anything will went wrong it will be much easier to investigate it.
Free pick up is available as well as same day delivery for Millstreet, Charleville, Kanturk and some other county Cork areas (contact us after order placement to arrange it please). Important – this option is not available at the moment due to lockdown restrictions.
Be aware, shipping days for all inland orders are Monday-Wednesday (Thursday on request only) and exclusively Monday for international orders with live insects.
Be aware – Our company is very small and this is why we are not always able to ship your order immediately after you placed it (in fact we don’t even have a post office in our location), but it will be surely shipped on next working day. So to get it shipped on Monday you need to place order on Sunday the latest, Tuesday – on Monday and Wednesday – on Tuesday.
Shipping charges are subject to change accordingly to service provider decisions or necessity of extra insulation in cold weather conditions.
Return option is available for equipment (i.e. tweezers, water bottles etc) within 14 days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, item must be unused, in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging.
Live specimens are not eligible for return, but eligible for refund/replacement if they arrived dead. In this case you must report it immediately on the day of delivery and provide photo or video as a proof of issue. We will then either refund for the dead stock, or, if another postage charge is paid, we will replace free of charge in the next post run where stock is available. In case incorrect address has been provided, our shop will not be responsible for possible loss of package/animals.
Be aware: Shipping costs are paid by customers and are non refundable.
