Short care sheet for Death’s Head Cockroach:

Origin: Central America

Size: 6 cm

Temperature: 25-30C

Humidity: Not sensitive

Difficulty Level: Easy

Death’s Head Cockroach is not the biggest species from genus Blaberus, but one of the biggest and easiest to keep. Great starter species for beginners who is interested in another addition to invertebrates collection. Except decorative value can be used as feeder for larger reptile/amphibian/carnivorous insects species.

This species can’t climb or fly at all and also can’t survive in room conditions outside of its box.

Fruits/vegetables diet is perfect for them.

Females are just a bit bigger and wider than males, which are more slender and active. This species is ovoviviparous, i.e. they bring live nymphs.
